About
Why this exists
This project exists out of spite. And also because there are too many CVEs being published now that everyone and their grandmother has LLM models to find vulnerabilities with. It's hard to keep track and maintainers and system administrators have too many stressful days keeping up with all the new CVEs.
I am following a feed of CVEs with score >= 8, and I have muted the channel simply because of how much stuff is in there. So this was my answer - a human-managed feed of some of the most important CVEs which affect software used by you and your loved ones.
What you get
- Scores at a glance. Every vulnerability shows its CVSS score so you can brace yourself before opening the disclosure report.
- Tags. An attempt at categorising vulnerabilities by scope so that the PHP developers don't have high heartrate from Azure vulnerabilities.
- Description. Because I want to understand these vulnerabilities better, I aim to write out a human-friendly report with reproduction attempts for anyone passing by. The disclosure report is of course linked where available.
- RSS. Subscribe to the feed so that you can get alerts for when your day is about to take a turn for the worse.
How it’s made
Built with Laravel and Tailwind CSS. Descriptions are written in Markdown (with EasyMDE in the admin panel) and rendered in your browser with marked and highlight.js, so code blocks keep their language colours.
Who's running this?
Hi! I'm Alex! You might know me from the Cloud Native Community Group, where I'm an organiser. Or maybe you have seen me at one of the hundreds of meetups or conferences I have attended, spoke at, or organised. My website is here if you want to find out more about me. I'm already burnt out from vulnerabilities and stuff in general, and I can't imagine what other maintainers are going through. I also run the meetup.mu website!
This website was built out of spite. Someone in a chat I am in said that all I do is rant
about problems. He later went on to say that I don't know what I'm talking about. Someone else
called me "noise and no substance" and "the cancer of our society".
I dedicate this project to you, out of pettiness and spite.
